With Carestream’s new reporting module you can eliminate using multiple software
programs and transferring data manually which increases the risk of error. Save time, reduce transfer errors and output the way you need it.

Carestream’s reporting module is a flexible report template generation tool that can be easily added to our INDUSTREX version 4.1 imaging software.
Create reports right in the Digital Viewing Software program that can include logos, digital x-ray images and metadata. Share the reports worldwide in PDF format. Modify templates you have already created to save time generating new reports.
User defined metadata fields are also available. These fields can be used for business metadata gamma radiography techniques, or any other designated information.
Options
After analyzing an image, you can produce a pre-formatted standard report for the image right in the INDUSTREX Digital Viewing Software interface. A standard report structure includes:
- Header information
- Imagery: full image versions including the original and annotated imagery
- Statistics: image statistics and statistics on any ROIs created on the image
- Metadata: if this inclusion box is checked, the report displays information found in the Metadata Dialog Image Properties and Scanner Properties tabs
- DICONDE Data: if this inclusion box is checked, the report will contain information found in the DICONDE tags
Custom Reports
Custom reports support a variety of needs, from single-image analyses to project reports involving multiple images and associated data. Reports are produced in .pdf or .csv format, which allows you to easily share them online or in print. Custom templates allow users to produce standardized and repeatable reports saving time and increasing productivity.
Managing Templates and Content
Templates determine a report’s structure and layout. The templates provide the specific framework from which you can arrange the layout, select metadata fields, and select or enter additional data, such as a digital photo, technique sketch or project information not contained in a single file’s metadata.

INDUSTREX Templates
The master templates provide a starting point for the creation of your own templates. The sample templates provide examples of what functional templates may look like. You can make changes to the content* and save them under a new name.
Custom Template Elements
- Header: a row containing text and up to two logo images
- Text: one or more rows containing your report comments
- Image: can be raw image data, image data from the current program window, or image data from a file
- Table: contains metadata, ROI measurements, or wall-thickness measurements
- Mixed Row: can be a combination of text elements, image elements, and table elements
- Footer: one or more rows containing signatures and dates
