Senior Process Development Engineer William Devine received an honorable mention in the AIMCAL John Matteucci Award for Technical Excellence in Web Coating for his technical paper entitled, “Sheet Resistance Anisotropy in Transparent Conductive Films Containing Silver Nanowires.”

Presented at the AIMCAL Web Coating & Handling Conference, the paper provides experimental data showing the influence of key solution delivery, coating and drying parameters on sheet resistance anisotropy and offers insights on causal mechanisms. The topic was co-authored with Jason Payne, CTO of Medical Films and Printing Solutions, and Aaron Clapp, R&D Manager – Print Media.

Carestream’s achievement marks the second consecutive year that the company has been honored for a technical paper at the AIMCAL Web Coating & Handling Conference. The John Matteucci Award recognizes the best papers submitted in each of the Web Coating and Vacuum Web Coating tracks, in honor of Matteucci ─ a leader in the field of web coatings.
